No network printer notifications appear even though the Show informational notifications for network printers check box is selected.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\Settings\EnableBalloonNotificationsRemoteregistry sub-key is not created when Microsoft Windows XP is installed. By default, the check box is initially selected.
To resolve this problem, use either of the following methods.
