Article ID: 831655 - Last Review: November 21, 2006 - Revision: 3.2 FIX: An MDX Query on a Real-Time Update Enabled Cube Returns Results from the Client-Side CacheOn This PageSYMPTOMSIf you run a Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) query on a real-time update enabled cube, the query may return results from the client-side cache instead of from the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services server. This problem occurs even after you have updated one of the underlying SQL Server tables that the real-time cube uses. If you disconnect and then reconnect the client application, and then you run the MDX query again, the query returns the updated data. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
