CAUSEThis problem may occur if your Windows NT Server 4.0 computer uses disk mirroring. Disk mirroring is also known as redundant array of independent disks (RAID) level 1. The Windows fault-tolerant disk driver (Ftdisk.sys) disables a mirror set and fails synchronization of the mirrored disks if both of the following conditions occur:
