SYMPTOMS

When you try to edit text that is in a text box in Microsoft Publisher 2002 by clicking Edit Story in Microsoft Word on the Edit menu, you may receive the following error message
Windows is low on memory. To free up memory, save your work and close other programs; then continue working.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you have Norton AntiVirus installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
1.Quit all your open programs.
2.Click Start, and then click Run.
3.In the Open box, type regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Norton Antivirus\Officeav.dll, and then click OK.
4.When you are prompted to acknowledge that the program succeeded, click OK.
