SYMPTOMS

When you view the bindings of your Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer, there may be no network adapter bound to the DHCP server. This problem may occur even if the Disable DHCP Media Sense setting has been selected.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the network cable is unplugged from the Windows Server 2003-based computer that is hosting your DHCP server.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information
