Method 1: Check the current Passport Network registrationYou must activate the Reader for the Pocket PC upgrade with the same Passport Network account that you used to activate the earlier version. MORE INFORMATIONSome Microsoft Pocket PC manufacturers include a version of
Reader for the Pocket PC in the device read-only memory (ROM). Programs that
are installed in ROM do not appear in the Remove Programs list on the Pocket PC
and cannot be removed. To upgrade Reader for the Pocket PC, follow the steps in
the "Resolution" section of this article to install a later version of Reader
for the Pocket PC into the random-access memory (RAM) on your
