Because the updates are cumulative, each new release contains all the previously released updates for SQL Server 2000. On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you use a Decision Support Objects (DSO) application (such as the DTS Cube Processing task or the Analysis Manager interface) to perform a process database operation on an Analysis Services database, the step that initializes the cube may take several hours to complete for selected cubes. However, if the cube is processed individually, the initialization step takes less than one minute. The problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
