SYMPTOMS

When a program calls the AuthzInitializeContextFromSid function on your Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer, you may receive the following error message:

The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

This issue may occur when the AuthzInitializeContextFromSid function passes a non-null-terminated string to the DsGetDcName function.
