Description of the proofing tools for the Swedish version of Office 2003 hotfix package: May 24, 2004

Issue that is fixed in the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package, but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

• When you check the spelling and the grammar in the Swedish version of a Microsoft Office Word 2003 document that has FILLIN fields that contain text with quotation marks, Word 2003 quits unexpectedly and you receive the following error message:
  Microsoft Office Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience
  If you view the details of the error message, you receive an error signature that is similar to the following:

  Note This issue does not occur if you view the field codes and then check the spelling and the grammar in the Swedish version of a Word 2003 document.
  
  To view the field codes, press ALT+F9 or click Options on the Tools menu. On the View tab, click to select the Field codes check box.
