Article ID: 835252 - Last Review: February 4, 2004 - Revision: 1.2 Channel Browser dialog box warns you that non-secure data may appearSYMPTOMSWhen you browse a Microft Content Management Server (MCMS) and SharePoint Portal Server (SPS) integrated Web site by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and you click Browse to open the Channel Browser dialog box, Microsoft Internet Explorer loads a Channel Browser dialog box that warns you that non-secure data may appear. The Channel Browser dialog box prompts you to select Yes, to select No, or to select More Information before you can continue. If you click No, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) returns an response to the client. However, an auto-postback immediately occurs and renders the page correctly, and you can see the
Channel Browser dialog box. If you click Yes, you can see the Channel Browser dialog box immediately. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, do either of the following:
