How to export a list of ZIP codes for an area in MapPoint

INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to export a list of ZIP codes for a selected area in Microsoft MapPoint.

To export a list of ZIP codes for a selected area in Microsoft MapPoint, follow these steps:

Click Data, and then click Data Mapping Wizard.
Click Shaded Area, and then click Next.
Click Add Demographics to the map, click the map that you want in the list box, and then click Next.
Under Select the data field or column to map, click the field or the column that you want.
Under Show the data by, click ZIP Code, and then click Next.
Click Finish.
In MapPoint, select the area you that you want ZIP codes for.
Right-click the area that you selected, and then click Export to Excel.
