Error message when you try to update construction information in Streets and Trips or in MapPoint: "A new construction file is not available at this time"

Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry
When you try to update construction information in any
one of the products listed in the "Applies To" section, you
may receive the following error message:
A new
construction file is not available at this time. Try downloading new
construction information again later.
Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious
problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft
cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry
Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk.
To resolve this problem, modify the Windows
Registry. To do this, follow the
steps
in the section that corresponds to the product where you are experiencing the problem.
This issue does not apply to the latest versions of Microsoft Streets and Trips or Microsoft MapPoint. If you cannot download constructions in the latest versions of these products, follow the steps that are listed in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article.
