FIX: You may receive a "PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION" stop error when you enable event logging in Server for NFS in Windows Services for UNIX 3.0 or 3.5

SYMPTOMS

When you enable event logging in Server for NFS in Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 3.0 or 3.5, you may receive the following stop error message:
0x000000CD (PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION)

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
