SUMMARY

This article describes the Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 issue that is fixed in the PowerPoint 2003 hotfix package that is dated March 6, 2004.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • You receive the following error message in PowerPoint 2003:
    This feature is not available. To make this feature available, please run Setup again, select "Add or Remove Features" and change the feature to "Run from My Computer" or "Run from CD/network".
    This problem may occur when you do any one of the following:
    • You click Slide Design on the Format menu.
    • You click New on the File menu, and then click From design template on the New Presentation task pane.
    • You select Slide Design in the Other Task Panes box on the task pane.

This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 1.
