On page 1-17, Question 3 under the Lesson Review references the wrong type of trust.

Page 1-50: A-F should be A-E

On page 1-50, IP address classes A-F should be IP address classes A-E

Page 1-51: "cross-link trust" should be "shortcut trust"

On page 1-51, the question and answer for Question 3 reference the wrong type of trust.
Change:
"3. What are the advantages of using a cross-link trust? Cross-link trusts provide a way to create a direct trust relationship between two domains that may already be linked using a chain of transitive trusts. Cross-link trusts improve performance of queries between the linked domains."

To:

Page 5-13: Incorrect information regaridng the designation of operations masters roles

On page 5-13, in the last pararagraph,

Change:
"In a multiple-domain forest where the global catalog is not hosted on all domain controllers, you should move all of the forest-level operations masters roles to a domain controller in the forest root domain that is NOT DESIGNATED AS A GLOBAL CATALOG SERVER.”

To:
"In a forest at the Forest Functional Level Windows Server 2003, you do not have to place the domain naming master on a global catalog."

Page 6-15: IP address number and host name reversed

On page 6-15, the second sentence of the WINS Reverse Lookup Record section contains an incorrect description of a reverse lookup zone.

Change:
"If you recall, a reverse lookup zone resolves a host name to an IP address number."

To:
"If you recall, a reverse lookup zone resolves an IP address number to a host name."

Page 7-6: Missing Space In Lmhosts Sample

On page 7-6, in the Lmhosts file example, there should be a space between the IP address and the computer name.

Change:
"192.168.8.2computer2-1 #PRE
192.168.8.3computer2-2"

To:
"192.168.8.2 computer2-1 #PRE
192.168.8.3 computer2-2"

Page 9-15: Exponent not printed in superscript

On page 9-15, the second sentence contains an incorrect number.

Change:
"For those of us who are math illiterates, an undecillion is 1036, which is defined by mathematicians as a “large” number."

To:
"For those of us who are math illiterates, an undecillion is 10^36, which is defined by mathematicians as a “large” number."

Page 9-30: Missing / in network address

On page 9-30, the second sentence of the third bullet point is missing a /.

Change:
"Private IP network IDs 10.0.0.0 8, 172.16.0.0 /12, and 192.168.0.0 /16 are not able to connect to Internet resources unless they are translated to a public IP network ID."
To:
"Private IP network IDs 10.0.0.0 /8, 172.16.0.0 /12, and 192.168.0.0 /16 are not able to connect to Internet resources unless they are translated to a public IP network ID."

Page 10-6: 22 should be 54

On page 10-6, the last line of Table 10-2 includes incorrect information regarding the maximum speed of an 802.11g connection

Change:
"802.11g 2.4 GHz / Up to 22 Mbps"

To:
"802.11g 2.4 GHz / Up to 54 Mbps"
