FIX: You may receive an "Invalid object name..." error message when you run the DBCC CHECKCONSTRAINTS Transact-SQL statement on a table in SQL Server 2000

Microsoft distributes SQL Server 2000 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2000 fix release.

SYMPTOMS

When you log in to a SQL Server database by using the dbo (database owner) user and you then run the DBCC CHECKCONSTRAINTS Transact-SQL statement on a table that is owned by a user other than the dbo user, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:

Server: Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Invalid object name '<Table Name>'.
This problem may occur even if you qualify the table name with the name of the object owner in the DBCC CHECKCONSTRAINTS Transact-SQL statement.

Hotfix information

The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
