Windows Millennium-based Web client locks after upgrading to Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade Microsoft CRM server to version 1.2, when you access Microsoft CRM from a client computer that runs Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, Microsoft Internet Explorer may freeze when you try to perform an action such as reassigning an opportunity to another user. If Internet Explorer does freeze, it also locks the computer and requires restarting the computer.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
904435  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904435/ ) Update Rollup 2 is available for Microsoft CRM 1.2
