When you use the screen reader tool to read the text of
objects that you created in a Microsoft PowerPoint slide, the screen reader tool does not read the objects in a logical
order.

This behavior may occur if the objects are not placed in
Z-order.
To resolve this behavior, put the objects in Z-order. To do
this, follow these steps:
| 1. | Click Start, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Office, and then
click Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 or Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003. |
| 2. | Open the slide that contains the objects. |
| 3. | Right-click the first object to be read on the slide, point
to Order, and then click Bring to Front.
|
| 4. | Right-click the second object to be read on the slide,
point to Order, and then click Bring to
Front. |
| 5. | Repeat step 4 for the other objects on the slide in the
order that you want the objects to be read. |
Note Make sure that you click the border of the object, not a part of
the object.
