SYMPTOMSWhen you install the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 part of Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003, the installation process may seem to stop responding when the Registering Components section of the process reports that 13 minutes remain. The installation process may take longer than 13 minutes to complete. CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the Windows Small Business Server Setup program installs additional security updates that were released after the release of Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition. The installation process may also take longer than you expect depending on the hardware configuration of your computer. RESOLUTIONThis behavior is expected and does not indicate a problem with the Setup program or with the hardware. You do not have to take any action other than to wait for the installation process to complete its remaining tasks.
