Reporting Services on computers that are running Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2. You must configure Windows Firewall to allow Reporting Services network connectivity. By default, Windows Firewall is enabled. MORE INFORMATIONYou can access Reporting Services locally
or remotely. If you are accessing Reporting Services locally, you do not have to make any changes to Windows Firewall. If you are accessing Reporting
Services remotely, through a browser or through an application, you must enable
Reporting Services by opening certain required ports on Windows Firewall.
For Reporting Services, you must enable ports for HTTP and for HTTPS access, if you are using HTTPS. Note Port 80 is the default port setting for Reporting Services. If you are not sure if you are using the default port setting, follow these steps:
If you later decide to disable these ports, you can clear the check box next to your new service. Note If you are accessing the Reporting Services Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) provider remotely, you must enable port 135. REFERENCES
