When you save an image in Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac
Standard Edition and then view the image in a different image viewer, the image
may not appear as expected.
This problem occurs if both of the following conditions are
true:
- The image that you saved contains shadow
effects.
- The image is saved in Macintosh Picture (PICT)
format.
To work around this problem, save the image in Portable
Network Graphics (PNG) format. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start Office 2004 for the Mac Standard Edition, and then
open the file that contains the image that you want to save.
- CTRL+click the image that you want to save, and then click
Save as Picture.
- In the Format box, click Portable
Network Graphics (PNG), and then click
Save.
