When you open a worksheet that has a chart in Microsoft
Excel 2004 for Mac, the labels on the chart may overlap.
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
- Double-click one of the labels.
- In the Format Data Labels dialog, click
the Font tab.
- Change the font size to one size smaller.
For
example, if the current font size is 11, change the size to 10. - Click OK.
- If the problem continues, repeat steps 1through
4.

in the "Applies to" section.
