SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Active Directory Connector (ADC) to create a public folder Connection Agreement between a Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 site and the Active Directory directory service, you may find that the public folder Connection Agreement unexpectedly stops. An event ID error message that is similar to the following is logged in the application event log:

  • A recipient Connection Agreement that replicates recipient directory objects from Exchange Server 5.5 to Active Directory does not exist.
