SYMPTOMS

When you try to package a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 presentation by using the Package for CD feature and save the files to a folder on your computer, you may receive the following error message:
The digital certificate for PowerPoint viewer is invalid or has been tampered with.

When you use the Package for CD feature and save a copy of the packaged presentation to a folder on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, this difference in digital certificates is detected and you receive the error message.
