An "Event ID 1168" error message is logged in Event Viewer on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based domain controller. There may be no other symptoms to indicate that there is a problem.
An "Event ID 1168" error message may be logged if multiple directory service threads try to create a new name for a deleted (tombstone) object.
Note This problem causes no damage to your computer.
