remote computer that is running Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services,
you may not be able to deploy the report successfully. You may notice that the
Reporting Services Login dialog box that prompts the user to
enter the connection credentials appears repeatedly. This behavior occurs even if you provide
a valid user name and password for authentication. This problem may occur if
all the following conditions are true:

How to obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, when you deploy a report on a
remote computer that is running SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services, specify the
user name but do not qualify the user name with the domain name in the
Reporting Services Login dialog box. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Reporting
