On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and you click a hyperlink to download a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 form, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following error message: InfoPath cannot create a new, blank form.
InfoPath cannot open the form. To fix the problem, contact your administrator. You may also receive an error message that is similar to one of the following error messages, where user is the name of the current user, folder is a subfolder in the Temporary Internet Files folder, and filename.xsn is the name of an InfoPath 2003 file: Form template: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\folder\filename.xsn The following form template for the form cannot be found: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\folder\filename.xsn. CAUSEThis issue can occur if InfoPath 2003 cannot find the downloaded file in the Temporary Internet Files folder for the current user. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, download and install Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-38.
