Issue:

When selecting an existing catalog to generate a report that previously worked I am getting the error Runtime error 3159, not a valid bookmark. What can I do to get the report to work?

Resolution

Follow the steps below. Move to the next step if you still receive the error.

1. Compact the FRx databases by going to File- Compact FRx Databases. Compact both the FRx system database and the current spec set database. Generate the report again.

2. Export the reports to a new spec set (Company- Spec Sets- Export). Make sure to select all of the building blocks when you export. Create a new spec set making sure to create a brand new *.f32 file by changing the path in the location line. Generate the report again.

3. Recreate the row, column, and tree assigned to the report.

4. Restore the sysdata directory from a backup. One of the building blocks has become damaged and can not be repaired.
