Question:

I am trying to print an edit list of a General Ledger batch that I just imported. However, I am getting the message 'The stored procedure glpPostBatch returned the following results: DBMS: 0, Dynamics: 20911'. The transactions look fine when viewed in General Ledger Transaction Entry, but the edit list that does print shows no batches to post. What could be wrong?

Answer:

In this case, only the individual transaction line items were being imported into the Transaction Amounts Work table, GL10001. In order to create the header record for the journal entries in the Transaction Work table, GL10000, the checklinks process was being run on the Transaction Work table. The fields being added to the header record were causing the error message when printing the edit list. By importing both the transaction records and the header record, the error message was avoided.
