Question I received an unexpected application error when trying to access the web page: An unexpected application error has occurred. Please record the following information and see your system administrator. It also states an Error Description, Error Source, Error Number, File, and Time of Error. My system administrator is not available, what should I do about the error?
Answer These unexpected application errors usually cannot be corrected by the web page user. You should seek the advise of an IS individual or an individual familiar with Microsoft Internet Explorer. It is important for the user to provide as much information as possible to the person responsible for correcting the error: 1. Do a screen print of the error by pressing the Print Screen button on your keyboard. 2. Open Microsoft Word, or WordPad, and paste in the screen print by pressing Ctrl+V. 3. Enter a description of what you were doing prior to the appearance of the error, to give it context and further clues for the support and programming individual to evaluate the problem. 4. Contact your corporate administrator about the problem. Based on the severity of the error, the system administrator may wish to discontinue use of the .Employee application, while the error is analyzed. 5. Make the MS Word or WordPad document which has the print screen and description of the error available to your system administrator.
