On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you log on to a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer that is running Gateway Services for NetWare, your computer may stop responding, and you may receive the following Stop error message: Stop 0x000000D1 in nwrdr.sys CAUSEThis problem occurs if you use a Novell Directory Services (NDS) context that is longer than 24 characters when you log on. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article.
