SYMPTOMSYou have a program that contains the definition of a Microsoft Windows Management Instrumentation in .NET event. When your program with integrated security calls an inprocess Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) component, you may receive an exception that is similar to the following: Exception Type: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException
ErrorCode: -2147217405 Message: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80041003. TargetSite: Void Start() HelpLink: NULL Source: System.Management RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Windows Server 2003 that contains this hotfix.
