SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, if one schema imports other schemas from assemblies and then you compile the schema, you receive the following compiler error message:

schemaLocation could not be resolved.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you import schemas from assemblies and redundant imports are in the assembly.

For example, Schema1.xsd imports A and B. Then, A and B import C. In this example, A, B, and C are all assembly imports. When you compile Schema1.xsd, you receive the error message.
