Multilevel subtotals are in the wrong position in Excel 2002 and Excel 2003
However, the multiple grand totals that are present in Microsoft Excel
97 for Windows and in Microsoft Excel 2000 are not present. Because the grand totals are not present, there may be interference with solutions that automatically compensate for multiple grand totals.RESOLUTIONThis problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now contained in a service pack. Note The behavior that is enabled by this hotfix is considered a temporary measure to give users time to modify solutions that compensate for the behavior that is changed in the hotfix that is described in Knowledge Base article 831824. Later versions of Microsoft Excel may not support multiple grand totals.

has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Office 2003 Service Pack 2.
