CAUSEThis problem occurs because OneNote provides support for nine keyboard shortcut keys. By default, the keyboard shortcut keys are applied to the first nine Note Flags. However, you can assign the nine shortcut keys to any Note Flag. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use the Note Flags toolbar shortcut menu to apply Note Flags. To make the Note Flags toolbar visible in OneNote, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Note Flags. You can now apply any one of the 25 Note Flags that are available in One Note by using the toolbar shortcut menu. To assign the nine keyboard shortcut keys (CTRL + 1 through CTRL + 9) to any Note Flag of your choice, follow these steps:
