The Manage command is not removed from the Windows Explorer shortcut menu

After you use the Group Policy feature in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 to turn on Hides the Manage item on the Windows Explorer shortcut menu in the administrative template for Windows Explorer, the Manage command may not be removed from the My Computer shortcut menu on client computers. This symptom occurs if the Remove Search menu from Start Menu Group Policy is also enabled in the administrative template for Windows Explorer. The Manage command is removed if the Remove Search menu from Start Menu Group Policy is not enabled.

Note The Manage command is displayed when you right-click Windows Explorer or My Computer.

To enable the Hides the Manage item on the Windows Explorer context menu Group Policy in Windows Server 2003, follow these steps:

1. Start the Default Domain Policy snap-in. To do this, follow these steps:
   1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
   2. Right-click the domain object, and then click Properties.
   3. Click the Group Policy tab.
   4. In the Current Group Policy Object Links for domain name list, click Default Domain Policy, and then click Edit.
2. In the Group Policy Object Editor, expand User Configuration, expand Administrative Templates, expand Windows Components, and then click Windows Explorer.
3. In the right-pane, double-click Hides the Manage item on the Windows Explorer context menu.
4. Click Enabled, and then click OK.
5. Close the Default Domain Policy.

To turn on the Remove Search menu from Start Menu Group Policy in Windows Server 2003, follow these steps:

1. Start the Default Domain Policy snap-in. To do this, follow these steps:
   1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
