You experience these symptoms if you delete the value of a user property in Active Directory. After you import the user profile information of that user to SharePoint Portal Server 2003, the value of that user property still exists for that user profile. CAUSEThis problem occurs if the following conditions are true, in the order that they are presented:
RESOLUTIONThis problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now contained in a service pack. If you installed the latest SharePoint Portal Server 2003 service pack, you do not have to install the hotfix.
