SYMPTOMS
When you open your Favorites list in Microsoft Windows XP Help and Support Center or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Help and Support Center, the following symptoms may occur:
CAUSEThis issue occurs when you add links to your Favorites list in Windows XP Help and Support Center or in Windows Server 2003 Help and Support Center that Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 do not support for use in the Favorites list. This issue can occur when you right-click a link and then click Add To Favorites. Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 do not support Web URLs, such as http://www.microsoft.com. Also, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 do not support shortcuts, such as a shortcut to the Calculator. Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 only support Help and Support Center topics in the Favorites list. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. MORE INFORMATIONThere is currently no resolution for this problem. To remove a link that does not work, click the link, and then click Remove.
