Session Summary

Thursday, August 12, 2004

This Support WebCast discusses installing Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. Although the installation process is not complex, it does require a careful review of the requirements and architecture of the product, and an effort to determine the appropriate architecture for individual requirements. The WebCast will cover the most common questions presented by customers, and some of the most frequent issues they encountered when setting up SQL Reporting Services in a large computing environment.

This is a Level 200 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=gp;en-us;webcastlevels&sd=gn) session presented by Ken Robison and Ayax Vargas.

Ken Robison is a support engineer in Developer Support. He works on the MSXML/C#/Visual Basic Web Database team and has worked for Microsoft for almost five years. He has worked with Visual Studio .NET since the first beta version, and has extensive development experience with both Visual Studio .NET, Visual Basic 6.0, C#, MSXML, and FoxPro. Ken holds an Associate degree in electronics, a Bachelor of Science degree in computer programming, and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.

Ayax Vargas has collaborated with Microsoft for more than five years. Before joining Microsoft, he worked as a developer, consulting with the financial and retail industry. His experience includes Visual Studio .NET languages such as Visual C# and Visual Basic, and older technologies such as Visual Basic and classic ASP Pages. Ayax has a Bachelor's degree in accounting and multiple Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified Database Administrator and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.
