When
you click
Send E-mail on the
File menu in
Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 or Microsoft Office Publisher 2003, the
Send This Page as Message
command is unavailable.
The
Send This Page as Message command is
available only if the following conditions are true:
- You have one of the following versions of Microsoft Outlook installed on your computer:
- Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
- Microsoft Outlook Express
5.0 or a later version of Outlook Express
- The Outlook program is your default e-mail program.
If you have another e-mail program set as your default e-mail program, the
Send This Page as Message command is unavailable.
To work around this problem, follow these steps or set Outlook or Outlook Express as your default e-mail program.
Note These steps assume that you have a single-page publication.
Multiple-page publications must be sent as an attachment.
- On the File menu, click Save
As.
- Type a name for the publication.
- In the Save as type list, click
Web Page (*.htm, *.html).
- Click Save.
- In the e-mail program that you are using, create a new e-mail message.
- Type the recipient and the subject for the e-mail
message.
- Insert the .htm file that you saved in step 4 into the new e-mail message.
To set Outlook or Outlook Express as the default e-mail program, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type inetcpl.cpl, and then click OK.
- Click the Programs tab.
- Set the default client in the e-mail drop-down by selecting the appropriate Outlook program.
- Click OK and then click OK.
In Outlook:
- Start Outlook.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Other tab.
- In the General section, click to select the Make Outlook the default program for E-mail, Contacts, and Calendar check box.
In Outlook Express:
- Start Outlook Express.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Next to This application is NOT the default Mail handler, click Make default
