SYMPTOMSWhen you log on to your network on a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer that contains both a wireless connection network card and a wired connection network card, the Log On to Windows dialog box may remain on the screen for one to two minutes. After the dialog box disappears, you can successfully log on. CAUSEThis problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
RESOLUTION A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article.
