CAUSE

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
The Chinese language is configured as the default language for Microsoft Office 2003.
You switched to the Russian keyboard layout without switching to the Russian language.

PowerPoint 2003 does not correctly enumerate the Russian TrueType font. When you save the presentation, PowerPoint 2003 enumerates the font as an Asian font. Therefore, the program assigns the default Simsun font to the text that you typed in a Russian TrueType font.
