Then, you save, close, and reopen the presentation. The text that you typed in a Russian TrueType font is now in the Simsun font. CAUSEThis problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
PowerPoint 2003 does not correctly enumerate the Russian TrueType font. When you save the presentation, PowerPoint 2003 enumerates the font as an Asian font. Therefore, the program assigns the default Simsun font to the text that you typed in a Russian TrueType font. RESOLUTIONThis problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now contained in a service pack. If you installed the latest Office 2003 service pack, you do not have to install the hotfix.
