RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the appropriate service pack or hotfix that is described in this article. If you obtain the hotfix, after you apply it, you must also enable it by following the steps in the "Enable the hotfix" section. Note In Internet Explorer 6 in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), all user-added trusted sites are merged with the sites that are specified in an automatic configuration script. This hotfix provides the same functionality for Internet Explorer 6 and for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1) in Microsoft Windows XP, in Windows XP SP1, in Windows 2000, and in Windows NT 4.0.
