Article ID: 886948 - Last Review: October 30, 2007 - Revision: 4.3 The Migration Wizard does not migrate all the calendar items in Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1
On This PageSYMPTOMSAfter your mailboxes are migrated from Microsoft Exchange
5.5 to Microsoft Exchange 2003 Service Pack 1 by using the Exchange Migration
Wizard, you may notice that not all the calendar items in Exchange Server Service Pack 1 are migrated. Instead, only some of your calendar items are migrated.
CAUSEA
change was made in Microsoft Exchange 2003 Service Pack 1 to avoid duplicating
calendar items during migration from an Exchange 5.5 calendar to an Exchange 2003 calendar. When you paste a calendar item from an Exchange 5.5 calendar to an Exchange 2003 calendar, the new calendar item shares the unique identifier with the old calendar item. Therefore, the two calendar items are considered duplicate items. Only the calendar item that was modified last is migrated. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server 2003.
