Visual Basic Documentation Help topic is not displayed in an Office Professional Edition 2003 program

SYMPTOMS

You may experience the following symptom in a Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 program such as Microsoft Office Excel 2003. When you try to view a Help topic that is listed under the "Microsoft Visual Basic Documentation" topic, the Help topic may not be displayed.

For example, consider the following scenario.
1.Under the Microsoft Visual Basic Documentation topic, you click Visual Basic User Interface Reference.
2.You click Commands, you click A-C, and then you click Add Watch Command (Debug Menu). However, the "Add Watch Command (Debug Menu)" topic is not displayed.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you did not install Microsoft Office Access 2003 when you installed Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003.

Note This issue does not occur if you completely install Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 and then remove Microsoft Office Access 2003.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, install Access 2003. To do this, follow these steps:
1.Quit all Office 2003 programs.
2.Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
3.In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003, and then click Change.
4.Click Add or Remove Features, and then click Next.
5.In the Custom Setup pane, click to select the Access check box, and then click Update.
