SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows 2000, the Close button will not close the Support Info dialog box in Add or Remove Programs.

WORKAROUND

Click X in the upper-right corner of the window to close the Support Info dialog box.

Steps to reproduce this issue

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Click any one of the currently installed programs, and then click Click here for support information.
  3. In the Support Info dialog box, click Close.
