This article describes the Microsoft Project 2003 issue that fixed in the Microsoft Project 2003 post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package that is dated October 21, 2004.

Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

The Summary task feature in Project 2003 does not calculate the sum of the costs for all tasks correctly after you install Microsoft Project 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Prerequisites
