Cannot create orders that have 0.00 price per unit for the order product in Microsoft CRM 1.2

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft CRM 1.2, after you change the Order Product form in System Customization to set the default minimum value for the Price Per Unit field to 0.00 and publish the change, you may receive the following error when you create and save an order:
An handled exception occurred during the execution of the current Web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
