FIX: Breakpoint does not work correctly on a .line directive that does not have a column range in the .NET Framework 1.1

SYMPTOMS

In the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, if a breakpoint is set on a statement that is related to a .line directive that does not contain a column range, the debugger will move to the next .line directive. This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:

The first .line directive has no column range.
The second .line directive has a column range.

For example, in the following Microsoft intermediate language (MSIL) code when you set the breakpoint on a statement that is related to a .line directive, the debugger will move to the second line.

.line 5
.line 6: 8, 14

Note If both .line directives have no column range, the debugger will behave as expected and will stop on the first line.

This problem typically occurs when a compiler creates MSIL code. Then, when you debug the code in a managed code debugger such as Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, the problem occurs.
